Since 1925, our policy has been a clear expression of the philosophy of the funeral service. It is geared to the needs and desires of the public Nixon Funeral Home is privileged to serve. This principle of funeral service permits all people to bury their loved ones with dignity. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
THIS YEAR – 2015 – marks ninety (90) consecutive years of service by Frank and Solomon Nixon Funeral Home. We are proud to be the oldest African American family-owned business and funeral home in Tift County, Georgia. We could not have reached this significant milestone without all of you in this community who have supported us over the years.
We have a very rich heritage and history of which we are very proud and of which all of you have played a very important part. Our History is Your History. This year we will celebrate our four (4) Nixon Funeral Home Pioneers in many ways, including sharing a feature article on one of them in each quarterly edition of our newsletter, NixoNotes.
For the first quarter of 2015, we are proud to feature an article on Nixon Pioneer, the Late Frank T. Nixon. Please click on this link to learn more about this extraordinary man.
